1.

The tourism industry of Omani has taken a significant turn in the economy for the past ten years and has been slowly incorporated in local attitudes. Omanis are slowly increasingly conscious of their country's future attractiveness. Since 2010, turism revenues have risen steadily in the country's GDP.

Compared with other sectors, such as financial services, retail and supply chains, manufacturing and transport, the tourism industry is growing more rapidly. Tourism alone contributed 9.4% of total jobs, which grew 2.6% during 2015 and is projected to rise by 2.3% pa in 2025 about 10.7% of total.

The figure was $2.2 billion or 3.2 percent of GDP in 2017. For a clientele primarily from high and lower middle classes, the sultanate became a popular destination for western tourist agencies. The official statistics show the rise. The sultanate's number of visitors increased by 5 percent per year. 20% more French and 40 percent more German entered.

2.

Oman opens up to international tourists year after year. The country aims to diversify its economy. The sultanate hopes to quickly become a popular destination among the West visitors, without losing his soul at the same time, because of its rich history and its impressively diverse landscapes.

In recent years, the market has shifted. It was almost difficult to secure a tourist visa in the 1990s and early 2000s without going to a tour operator. As Oman became the first Gulf state to have a ministry affiliated exclusively with the industry, in June 2004 it opened its door. A overwhelming majority of Western people now seek a visa without any reservation upon arriving.

3.

The suggestion that is applicable is to keep the environment and culture alive as day by day the number of tourist rapidly increasing.

Yet Oman officials and leaders know that they are possibly going to arrive in this country on an uncontrollable scale without being able to recognize the Gulf country's sovereignty and Islamic moral values.
