System theory basically state that the organisation are the open system and mainly dependent upon the input from the outside world like raw materials, capital, human resources etc. Organisation mainly convert these inputs into output in order to meet the need and demand of the market. The feedback of this will provide input for the next cycle of the system. Hence everything in this system is dependent on each others.
Colleges and universities interact with various environment and produces output that impact the environment.
Sub systems of universities and colleges includes its Admin department, marketings and advertising, management department, human resources, canteen and welfare, teaching staff etc. All of these need to properly coordinate with each other in order to enhances the effectiveness and efficiency of the university of college.
Colleges and universities focus on the connectedness, interrelations and interdependence on all of its parts equally.
The sub systems in colleges and universities are hierarchically arranged and exist properly in order to support all the tasks which are necessary for its proper functionings.
The principles of functioning and process is similar for all the colleges and universities, it basically form uniformity in overall organisation hence the subsystem of universities and colleges are both components of the whole and dependent on each other's subsystem.
