Yes, having credibility does allow one to communicate more easily and influently as in psychology, the art of persuasion or having a major influence on someone does become effective depending on the credibility of the source as also prove in various research findings. For example you are more likely to listen and believe your psychology professors than someone on the street on a topic in psychology, this is mainly becuase you know that the information you are getting is from a source that has some credibility attached to them. However there are three main parts of credibility that also influence the communication and they are a.) the expertise of the source, b.) the integrity of the source and c.) the perceived godwill of the source. Often we see that many of our attitudes and belief system are also acquired by us through these credible sources in our environment. Therfore we can say that yes we agree that credibility does allow us to communicate or put forward our views and also accepts the views of others in our environment.
