Expert Solution

Lack of fitness is warranted in most of the the typical American children due the factors of unhealthy eating habits and lack of physical activities as outdoor plays and games. A typical child of America has high risk of obesity due to high intake of calorie rich junk foods and lack of outdoor games and activitie, as children are more likely to stick to their screen viewing appliances as mobile, iPad, computers or T.V.

Placing a child in more organized sports would make them the value of team spirit, would help to learn how to work in collaboration. Would channelize their energy in a positive way and would keep them healthy and fit. The cons of organized sports for middle aged children are their vulnerability of getting hurt, as their motor skills needed for such sports are still developing, hence, hurts due tripping, tumbling are always there. They may be bullied by the other older children and face a mental harassment that may go unnoticed by the coaches, and the children at this age are easily threatened and may not complaint such incidents.
