Explain the basis of earthquake law and policy in the United States.

Earthquake is nothing but shaking of earths inner region with a sudden impact, which occurs due to internal earths rock breaking or shifting most of the time under the earths surface. Its also sometimes results in unwanted situations such as landslide, floods (one of the major one named Tsunami). With reference the United States Geographical Survey held in 2014 in overall United states there are around 42 states when such major impact earthquakes can be experienced in the future some of the major to named as Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon, Nevada and Washington. Furthermore, there are 8 such stated in the united states has also been identified with there are least / no chances of any earthquake. One of the most earthquake prone areas in the Untied States continents is due to the west American Rocky Mountains. As of now the United States of America has faced biggest earthquake in Alaska, however the one that has dominated the most and cost biggest damage so far across the United States of America was in California. Talking about the Earthquake law & policies, the California Earthquake Authority is one of the major institutions working towards the same in the united states of America. There are several earthquake coverage policies introduced by CEA as a coverage towards these massive earthquakes. Under the people protection law all the Unites states people have been protecting since 2004 (since the time law was established). CEA is the main body governing towards such climatic disasters in the united states of America.
