State types of Mughal gardens along with their landscape planning citing examples
The Mughal garden is geometrically shaped in nature .In most of the cases it is of ractangular or the square shaped,Mughal garden is comprised of Persian architecture and Islamic culture .In the launguage of the Mughal the Garden is termed as the BAGH With citing example the Mughal garden are of following types-
1-CHARBAGH GARDEN
This is one of the most prevelent garden type of Mughal .This shows a axial geometry in which the area has been devided into four equal parts ,and it done through two paved path crossing each other at right angle and intersection of these path is the centre of the garden.The plantation on both side of paved path beutify the garden .The four quadrilateral area of the garden is majorly covered with grass on which people can sit .The boundry of the garden can be varied in nature sometimes it is surrounded by the hill some time it is surrounded by the brick and also sometime it is surrounded by the trees .The hill surrounded charbag is majorly seen in Jammu and Kashmir in region.And other examples can be seen in Lucknow.
2-TAJMAHAL GARDEN
The Taj Mahal of Agra in India is very famous example of the Mughal Garden which is famous not only in country even in the world also.The garden of Taj Mahal devided into four perfect square shape and the channel representing four rivers of paradise.The centre of the garden is highly symbolic and the terrace in the centre is also comprised with five fountains.Thus the Taj Mahal depics a very famous and beautiful combination of Islamic culture and Persian architecture and this also included in the seven wonder of the world.
3-RASHTRAPATI BHAWAN GARDEN
The garden of Rashtapati Bhawan of India is one of the major depiction of the Mughal Garden.This is the type of garden which is comprised of rectangular garden followed by long garden and lastly the circular garden .It was the characterstics had been in garden of the Mughal that the front gardens of the building is beautified mostly as seen in case of Rashtapati Bhawan (President House) .The front garden of main building is of the rectangular shaped and T-Shaped paved path is provided for the entrance .If the Mughal Garden is made in front of the very politically important building then a huge area is left for the human gathering which has also seen in case of the Rashtapati Bhawan .In Rashtapati Bhawan the boundry of the garden is lastly circular in shape and it is having a high protected wall boundry .Thus the garden of Rashtapati Bhawan is the example of the garden near the building which politically important .
4-KHUSARO BAGH
This is the structure of square shaped in which the centre area is alloted for the main building and the boundry of the garden is constructed by the wall and the big trees .Actually this is the burial complex and tomb of the Mughal emperor has seen here this is constructed in such a way that the people can sit here piecefully .This is the garden which were further utilised in India as the revolt site.So this type of garden has seen for the burial practices in the Mughal times.
