Role of social media in Socialization!

1. Do you think social media has influenced Socialization?

- I think social media platforms will not affect you in person but it will definitely leave an impact on the social well being of the users. It could be positive or negative in nature depends on the content shown and searched.

2. Do you think amid COVID the usage of social media increased?

- Yes, because it was the only medium to connect with people sitting at home. So definitely social media is a boon as well as bane for the society.

3. What are the negative effects of social media on the way people socialise?

- They are increased screen time, eye and ear problems, sleep disruptions, cyber bullying, harrassing people online and offline.

4. What could be the positive side to it?

- Building potential connections via social media application's such as LinkedIn, whatsapp, Instagram, twitter, telegram and so on so forth.

5. What can be the role of social media in youth socialization?

- Young minds are addicted to screens and with the recent increase in the screen time it has cause the screenagers community to their little eyes.
