Government reveal themselves important through the policies and the way it functions. The policies to protect and implicate the interests of the society or the population on which it represents, to stimulate the growth of the economy, to give protection to the citizen are all factors revealing the importance of the government. The law becomes important when it is able to give equal consideration to the people who follows the law and become able to adopt changes rapidly in the society. Efficient functioning of judiciary and the police force reveals the importance of the law. Organized society is a matter of effective functioning of a society increasing the social commitments and scope of the human social interactions. Modern societies with increased interactions and productivity reveal the important of organized societies.
Government plans and implication of fiscal policies and activities to control and manage growth in the economy are examples how government reveals itself important. Various economists and social scientists have quoted the importance of the government in various activities of ensuring protection and providing necessaries to the population. An absence of government can increase inefficiency in resource allocation and distribution. Redistribution of income which influences the welfare of the society cannot be achieved without the policies of government. As Keynes suggests, government role is important to the economy as it impacts on the demand side of the economy increasing the scope and growth of the economy. Absence of governmental intervention can reduce the scope and growth of economy which can lead to negative impact in price level.
