Expert Solution

1. In old age, slavery was defined as the individual or the group of individuals owned by an individual and mostly transported from one region to another for work purpose either they are sold or they are been paid a little wage to accomplish the various types of work. Ancient history was full of the slavery system.

In the present day, the slavery system is more complex and completed one. in modern days slavery was divided according to the demand and type of burden.

a) forced labor: this type of slavery involves the unwillingness of the worker to accomplish the work but by force, they have to complete it. for example the migrant worker in Dubai.

b) Debt Bondage: due to the pressure of debt the person loses his options and left with the option to work free.

c) Human trafficking: Human trafficking is one of the most vulnerable faces of slavery, where the person will be kidnaped or mislead in the name of the job and sold to the third party without the person's concern. Here in this case the labor class, women, and child trafficking are fluent and more serious. here the women are taken and mostly enforced to the prostitution where children are enforced to do more vulnerable work and in dangerous working conditions.

d) forced marriage: it is disguised slavery, where the girl will be taken in the name of the marriage and enforced to involve in prostitution or household work. this practice is more prominent in Islamic countries.

e) Descent slavery: this type of slavery is a generation base slavery where the generations of a family is enforced to work for a particular person. this is the extreme case of exploitation.

2. Slavery is one of the dangerous diseases in society. one among the 100 is a slave to someone. North Korea, Eritrea, and Burundi is having the highest rate of slavery. Slavery itself is the violation of human rights. so in this present scenario, slavery is present everywhere at every workplace but in the form of pressure, exploitation, harassment, discrimination. it is disguise in nature.

3. In modern days slavery became online trading. here the online posting of requirement and getting work is common but at the workplace, the nature of work may be different from the written one. the most vulnerable condition is the exploitation face by the worker is another form of slavery. to justify my statement, I can produce an example like the office has given notification of front office manager. Now he/she may not only take care of the front office or reception, but she may also be engaged as a secretary, as a service person. the time for working is not fixed. it may be extended to many more hours. so globalization and digitalization make this slavery system more rapid as it is not only confined to a country now it became globally tangible affair.

4. There should be a regular check on these types of online trading and sales.

government, as well as the police, should proactive about human trafficking and child labor.

There should be a punishable rule for the forced marriage.

Need more social awareness.

The more strict rule for such kind of practice.
