1. If I want a woven fabric to be manufactured within the minimum or maximum thicknesses respectively, how should you arrange the diameters of warp and weft yarns?
How should you arrange the warp wave and weft wave?
What is the corresponding weave phase for the thicknesses?
Please give me answer in details and every Description
The major process of making fabrics or clothes is weaving. In weaving of fabric two different sets of yarns are taken into consideration, one is warp yarn and other is weft yarn. For the weaving textile we use yarns made up of natural fibres like cotton and wool and synthetic fibres like nylon. Fabric thickness is being defines as the distance between two surfaces under any specific pressure.
Warp : The length wise yarn which run from back to the front of the loom is known as warp yarn.
Weft : it is transverse yarn which is inserted over and under the warp yarn.
So at the time of manufacturing the fabrics we need to take thickness into the consideration and as the warp yarn is longitudinally setup, it will not show much role in thickness and the weft yarn which goer over and under the warp has the importance in thickness as it will decide the thickness of the fabric. If the density and diameter of the weft yarn are more then the fabric of maximum thickness would be made and diameter of both the yarns should be less to obtain the minimum thickness of the fabric. Usually the fabrics with less thickness are more smooth as compared to the thick fabrics.
Making the waves and arranging warp and weft waves is also very important for the weaving of the fabric. To create a simple wave we should start weaving across our warp. Then gently push the woven warps up and down to make waves. The warp yarns automatically starts pulling inward and at that time we start weaving the weft yarn above and over the warp ones. Usually if the warp yarn is not effective we try to double the density of weft yarn to Improve quality of the waves.
The weaving process consists of several weaving phases which are winding, sizing, warping and putting the control on the fabric. So for each step of fabric weaving there is a decided phase and there is also a phase corresponding to the thickness of the fabric and it is termed as sizing of the fabric. It serves to the strengthening of the fibre, yarns are being classified differently on many basis and due after that twisting is done to provide the thickness to the fabric and all these process comes under the phase sizing of the fabric weaving.
