Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using Mesh current analysis, Nodal Analysis and Superposition Principle, for analyzing electrical circuits ?
ps. I would appreciate if the answer could be sent in text rather than handwriting
In Mesh analysis is by applying Kirchoff voltage law we can find the mesh current for each mesh. It is effective if the fundamental nodes are more when compared to number loops in a given circuit. In between 2 loops if any branch have current source then we have to apply supermesh analysis and this procedure is some what complicated.
Nodal analysis: it is simple method when compared to mesh analysis of circuit containing either voltage source or current source.Node equations can write on the basis of Kirchoff current law. If number of fundamental nodes are less then the number node equations are less which are easy to calculate. In between any 2 nodes if there is any voltage source then we have to apply supernode analysis
Superposition method: if the circuit containing more number of voltage and current sources and also they consists of AC and DC sources then superposition method is applicable.in this method we have to find response by considering individual source acting alone while remaining sources are replaced with their internal impedances.
