Step 2:
H0: Null Hypothesis: Drinking caffeine does not affect students' performance
HA: Alternative Hypothesis: Drinking caffeine affects students' performance
Step 3:
Through Simple Random Sampling technique, identify the sample of n students for the research analysis.
Collect from each of the n students the following details:
For i = 1, 2,...n:
xi = Number of coffee cups drunk per day over a specific period of time by the ith student
yi = Performance on tests over the same period by the ith student
Tabulate the values of (xi, yi)
Conduct detailed Data Reduction and Analysis of above data through graphs (bar chart, pie diagram etc., ) and Charts, Measures of Central Tendency, Dispersion etc.
Statistically analyze the relation between x and y through Correlation and Regression Analysis.
Conduct Hypothesis test on the relation between x and y
Make correct generalization through proper statistical methods and finalize the conclusions of the research activity.
