Compensation:

1) Gross Wages & Salaries: It includes payments to the employees for any contributions made to the Govt. It states the following:

a) Basic Wages & Salaries: Employees are provided basic wages and salaries for their contributions to govt. It may be weekly or monthly.

b) Additional Payments: It refers to the bonuses and all total allowances paid to employees.

i) Guaranteed and regularly paid allowances: It refers to allowances made to those who are working away from home or in hazardous working conditions, expatriation allowances for working abroad, housing allowances, travel expenses, and dearness allowances.

ii) Payments for time not contributed: It includes annual vacation, other paid leave, public holidays and other recognised holidays. This is applicable to countries where it is marked in the system.

iii) Bonuses & gratuities: It refers to payments made in year-end or as per the seasons. Also includes profit-sharing bonuses and additional payments during vacation.

2) Employers' Social Contribution: It is the contribution made by the employers to social security funds to secure social benefits for their employees.

i) Employers' deposits to statutory social security schemes or to privately funded social insurance schemes for the benefits of pension, sickness, maternity, sickness leave, injury to employees etc.

ii) Employers' unfunded social benefits: It includes payments made for the education of children, spouse and other family members education.

Payments made to the survivor of workers who lose their jobs because of accidental death.

Benefits:

Employee Discount: It includes free lunch and snacks at working hours.

Employee Assistance Program : It includes payments made towards gym membership or any physical and skill enhancing training program.

Conveyance: It includes facilities of pick and drop and conveyance provided for other official tour programes.
