3. What two industries are the biggest players in sustainability? How do they expand sustainability? Who else needs to be involved and what role should they play? (400 words)
The two industries which are the biggest players in sustainability are food, beverage, consumer goods and agricultural industry and health care, life sciences and energy producers/industries.
The agriculture industry is important because the food
sustainability is a big issue in the economy when there is a
question of land sustainability it means the production of crop
under the control of the sustainable production by procuring the
quality of soil in the farms.
Agriculture industry plays a very important role in sustainability
because ultimately the final sustainability issues are related with
the food security and food security issue can only be solved when
there is the sustainability of resources in the agriculture sector.
Agricultural industry is directly related to the food and beverages
for consumer goods. It tends to reduce natural resources and energy
used in raw material production, processing, packaging and
distribution of the agricultural products. It reduces waste and
emissions by reducing chemical by products. The oils used for
making food seek alternatives to palm oil. The restraunts providing
food and beverages seek to reduce food loss and waste.
Next important industry is the energy sector where the resources are used to maintain the sustainability for the development of structural changes in the society and to frame the things according to the development but the consideration related with the resource sustainability, therefore, it is important to produce energy but within the limit of the sustainability. The health care and life sciences industries use low energy health care devices and renewable for their sustainability. Other factors which we can include in the energy sustainability are all types of industry which are related to heavy production and there the carbon emission is very high.
