Business Analyst field will grow in the future because a very large amount of data is being produced every day and most of the companies are moving towards data world in which they are using data collected from the users in order to make decisions and plan about the future.

The business decision is made by a Business Analyst with data analysis along with product managers in order to improve the product.

The steps you are required to take is that most things are communication skills. These are very important because as a Business Analyst you will be required to present you finding from in the form of storytelling.

You will also be required to learn some tools such as Microsoft Excel in which you can perform analysis and create a chart. Moreover, you will also need the knowledge of math especially the Statistics.

Machine learning is nowadays also used by a business analyst to make predictions about the future. Thus I recommend you to learn python programming and some machine learning with it.

The Job Market for Business Analyst in the US is good and is growing rapidly due to the data world. After some experience you can become data scientist which are level up field.
