1. The main factors that caused the conflict between the British empire and France was trade issue. It was the matter of possession of the upper valley of the Ohio river and France claimed it as their own region.

Secondly, the cultural dominance also caused conflict. It was the matter of dispute what culture the native Americans would follow. There were the dominance of the British settlers. But French business transactions and their influence were more there.

Again the possession of the Mississippi island drew the conflict between the two major forces. France claimed the island as their own territory. But the British and allied forced were not ready to accept this.

2. Initially British force did not join to the war. It was between France and Virginia. Then on request British force rea had there. At first there was advancement of the French troop. But later, British force destroyed France and being forced they made Treaty of Paris. In the treaty France was forced to leave all the claims over Ohio river, Mississippi and others. Canada was left to the British.

3. However, the result of the treaty was far-reaching. The British empire became the controlling power of the North America. The American colonists were forced to take the supremacy of the British power. They became the policy maker of America for the next few generations.

4. But for the defense of North America British government has to do a large amount of expense. Therefore the British parliament decided to collect tax from the American colonists. It caused conflict and between British authority and American colonists. Such conflict resulted American Revolution.
