Explain the many evolutionary advantages of mega-molecule assemblage:

  • limited genome,

  • reuse/alternative use,

  • correctness,

  • translation or transcription error,

  • new properties emergence,

  • ability to regulate when assemble occurs.

Solutions

Expert Solution

The Molecular Evolutionary Genetics Analysis (Mega) software implements many analytical methods and tools for phylogenomics and phylomedicine. Here, we report a transformation of Mega to enable cross-platform use on Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. Mega molecule does not require virtualization or emulation software and provides a uniform user experience across platforms. Mega molecule has additionally been upgraded to use multiple computing cores for many molecular evolutionary analyses.

Molecular phylogenetics and molecular evolution correlate. Molecular evolution is the process of selective changes (mutations) at a molecular level (genes, proteins, etc.) throughout various branches in the tree of life (evolution). Molecular phylogenetics makes inferences of the evolutionary relationships that arise due to molecular evolution and results in the construction of a phylogenetic tree.

Transcription, translation and cell signaling within cells is controlled by many different mechanisms. Explain what each of these does to regulate the production of proteins: small interfering RNA(or siRNA), RNA splicing, and repressors(in operons). Please be specific and thorough as possible, I will give a thumb up if I like your answer. Thank you.
