A system description that reveals whether a system is stable or not stable without consideration of other system attributes.

  • A. Stable system

  • B. Absolute Stability

  • C. Marginally stable

  • D. Optimum control system

Solutions

Expert Solution

Hence, A system which produces a stable output for a stable input is called as Stable System.

A system is said to be Absolutely Stable if it produces a constant output even if there are any variations in input.

A system is said to be marginally stable if it produces sustained oscillations in the output even if the input is constant.

Similarly an Optimum Control system is used to know the system stability by using optimum controller.

Hope it is useful.

The assumption that a system will operate in a stable environment without risk is not realistic (Sales et al., 2018). Risk is widely classified into disruption and operational risks (Kleindorfer & Saad, 2005; Tang, 2006). Extreme uncertainty and the absence of synchronization between supply and demand are linked to operational risks while circumstances such as labor strikes, terrorist attacks, and natural calamities are related to disruption risks (Lockamy & McCormack, 2010). The probability of human injury or even death is...

I want to understand it very well. Would be nice to get some additional sources to read (books or articles).

An analysis of the results of a football team reveals that whether it will win its next game or not depends on the results of the previous two games. If it won its last and last-but-one game, then it will win the next game with probability 0.6; if it won last-but-one but not last game, it will win the next game with probability 0.8; if it did not win the last-but-one game, but won the last one, it will win...

Our textbook states: "As a general rule, an agreement without consideration will not be an enforceable contract, because consideration is so important as the binding element within a contractual relationship." Research and explain why this is so. In so doing, define and discuss the concept of consideration, including within your discussion the distinction between adequacy of consideration and sufficiency of consideration. This is an open ended question, so just need to answer it with supporting information and why you think...
