In narrative format discuss the key facts and critical issues of the life, crimes, and conviction of Aileen Wuornos.
1. Given her life circumstances do you believe that her life circumstances were ultimately a product of her free will? If so, to what extent could we claim that her freedom was at least limited by factors beyond her control?
2. To what extent might her "choices" - to be promiscuous, to engage in underage drinking, to act criminally - have been determined for her, given the sexual and verbal abuse to which she was subjected as a child?
3. If Aileen Wuornos' behaviors were at least in part, a product of her early life experiences and formative development, should she still be regarded as morally blameworthy and legally accountable for her actions?
