There are different types of specimens on the earth and for the classification many scientists have played a role. Out of all of them 1969 the traditional Whittaker classification was came into existence which was able to divide the organisms into the five kingdom system which comprises of Kingdom monera, protista, fungi, plantae and animalae. The system was based on the size, shape and the mode of nutrition and also comprises of the prokaryotes unicellular, eukaryotes unicellular and eukaryotes multicellular organisms. These was the way of five kingdom classification. But, the main problem in this classification was although there are all the bacteria they can not be put into the single group and thus the extremophiles that are extreme condition loving bacteria could not be placed under any category. Thus the Woese fox system was came into the existence for refurnishing the traditional classification system in 1990 and allow the extremophiles to categorize. This system was the three domain systems which was comprises of the three domains namely eukaryotes, prokaryotes and archae. ALll the other subtypes which has been categorized into the traditional classification came under these three kingdom and thus it became the consize and more precise with the classification of more organisms based on their different categories and also placed the extremophles which was not mentioned in the previous classification.
