Are there other ways to measure productivity increases besides amount produced each year per hours of work?
Following are the other ways to measure productivity:-
1.Management by objectives:-
Under this method, employees are given objectives first. After that, the employee performance is measured on the basis of the objectives and actual performance.
2. 360-degree feedback method
Under this method, employee performance is evaluated on the basis of his interaction with co workers. Everyone gives the feedback about the productivity of the employee in terms of their performance .
3. Measuring Sales Productivity
Under this method, employee productivity is measured according to number of sales done, customer call done, number of new customers added etc so that his performance is evaluated.
4. Measuring Time Management Productivity
Under this method, amount of time spent by employee on productive activities like illness, non work related conversations, distractions like social media etc to record the actual performance level.
