Solutions

Expert Solution

Below are the synergies that might be possible between a hospital(healthcare provider) and a rehabilitation service provider -

1. With the increasing scrutiny on the health of patients once they are discharged from hospital and accounting the hospitals for the same, they need to be more focused and responsible on the patient health post discharge by tying up with rehabilitation services which can ensure the patient comes back to normal through assisted care and nursing facilities.

2. While hospital provides medical treatment based on the diseases or health issues, rehabilitation services help faster recovery of the patients. Hence, the end-to-end treatment of the patient can be ensured by cretaing sysnergies between the two organizations.

3. The hospital can sponsor some of the amount for rehabilitation services to ensure the patient is back to normal thus avoiding the fines imposed by the regulatory authorities.
