1) Data Analyst (or Business Analyst) is a person who helps the firm to grow with the help of some useful information that he gets from the analyze the data that the firm is generating on a daily basis so a simple definition of Data Analyst (or Business analyst) is that he is the person who is responsible for the different kinds of decision that a firm is taking and make the business growth.

Data Analyst (or Business analyst) also try to capture the different kinds of trends and useful data from the open-source and analyze that information too so that might help the firm to understand the latest trends of the market and help them to take the right decision for their products and other things.

2) To become a Data Analyst (or Business Analyst) a person should have some set of skill sets so that he/she able to analyze the information and give their best to make some decisions. Here, are some skills that a person should have.

1) Excel

2) SQL

3) Knowledge of BI (Business Intelligent) tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlikview.

4) Basic of Python / R

5) Good Communication and Presentation skills

6) Modeling Skills

7) Data-Driven ability

8) Knowledge of Math and Statistics

9) Domain Knowledge( e.g. If a person want to become a Data Analyst in the field of Banking sector then he/she should have some banking domain knowledge )
