There are basically two types of webpages, one is static webpages and another is dynamic webpages.

Static web pages are more secure than dynamic web pages in most of the cases, static webpages are made before being uploaded to the web server and the text are of plain text unlike dynamic web pages , static web pages doesn't have database which makes them no possibility of getting a malicious request.
Dynamic web pages are less secure because they have greater vulnerability towards internet compared to the static web pages and since dynamic webpages have database so there is possibility for malicious request that can cause harm to the web page or application.
Developers insist on using dynamic web pages than the static web pages because it is more attractive to the visitors of the site due to more design options in it and this web page has lot of advantages like it can be easily updated by the owner and no expert knowledge is required.

So, static webpage is more secure than dynamic webpage but developers widely use dynamic webpages.
