Expert Solution

For Wussel:LH in males function to stimulate the leydig cells to produce testosterone. When there is low level of LH,testosterone production will be low which will lead to sexual dysfuntion, lack of sexual interest and low sperm count thereby resulting in infertility.

For Tiara: Progesterone is a steroid hormone that is produced in women in the luteal phase of menstrual cycle and functions in fertility, conception and pregnancy. It helps to maintain proper menstrual cycle, pregnancy and embryogenesis.Progesterone level is high agter ovulation and in the luteal phase and this makes the uterus lining thickened after a woman ovulates so that fertilized egg can implant the uterine wall and become pregnant. When a women has low levels of pregesterone, the second half of the menstrual cycle i.e the luteal phase becomes short. When luteal phase is short, there can be no implantation of the of the embryo causing miscarriage.
