In order for GE to remain competitive they will certainly need managers that are flexible and innovative...as well as good problem solvers. How do you think your skills measure up in these areas?
The way of doing business has changed and in order to sustain and succeed in this world of doing business, organizations need to be very much effort into in their approach and therefore the managers need to display innovation and creativity along with flexibility because only then an organization will succeed. I believe that I have been a flexible professional throughout my professional career and that has actually helped me because I was flexible and available based on the project and Organizational requirements and based on that I learnt a lot, that helped me in the future too.
Creativity on the other hand is something very different than flexibility because creativity and innovation is generally and idea or approach that managers believe has the potential to succeed although the process is complex because there are various aspects which may look simple whole planning but may differ during actual execution. I believe I have also been an emoyee who has forwarded various ideas that are new and has helped the organization do better as well. The requirements of a new manager is actually there in me and I believe I can succeed
