Facebook has been working on arising new products and manners for users to communicate in order to keep and build up a competitive advantage. Facebook brought in practicality that provided merchandiser websites to resemble the Facebook's like button. The Mission statement also dictates the same.
Discuss what practicality brings to Facebook and how it impacts creativity and innovation. In what ways does it help employees? In what ways does it help productivity?
Positive- Facebook has the largest no. of users, if you are looking to get connected with someone, facebook is the correct path as yoy can find people easily on facebook. Recently the company has added many new and interesting features like private chats, video and audio calling, and many other reactions to posts etc which has made facebook even more interesting. Since it is available in more than 70 languages, there is a huge no. of young users connecting each other through facebook. Another feature that keeps people interested in facebook is the feature of online games. Thus it helps youg users to stay connected and make more connections using facebook. It is not just the youth that has such a facebook craxe among themselves but people from all age groups are using facebook worldwide.Cute, right? And they're animated! The like button has always been a tough choice. We want to acknowledge we've read and are sad about a post, like a death in the family, but we don't "like" it. Also, I don't always want to comment on posts I know will get hundreds of other comments. The notifications overwhelm me.
The Love Button
We can now distinguish between simply liking something to truly loving it. I plan to use this for all the kid pics, birth announcements, engagements, positive progress on LGBT issues and any posts about Wonder Woman or shark diving.
The, Now Boring, "Like"
This will be for my more reserved happiness such as interesting and helpful articles, general complaining about Starbucks, Quora, or having to "adult," interesting life observations and less important life events, like moving.
The Ha Ha
Funny memes, funny kid stories, Elf on the Shelf pics, Pinterest ideas my friends think I should try, offensive celebrity tweets and anyone who "vaguebooks."
You know, "Today has been hard but the thing is tomorrow."
I'm laughing at that crap. Hard. It's a way for me to express my sarcasm and annoyance of posts people think are important, but aren't at all.
"I am going to have coffee and eggs."
Who cares?
"I saw a dog walking and now I'm getting dog food."
Please stop.
And the people who still post as if our profile name should be read first.
"Is getting ready for bed."
Like we're Facebooking in 2009.
I think the Ha Ha is going to be my favorite.
Wooooow!
This expression is so cute! The animation is great because the little mouth really "speaks" the "wow!" This is used for astonishingly atrocious Presidential candidate statements, general stupidity like walking into a glass door, impressive dog and kitten tricks and anytime someone uses "your" instead of "you're" or "there" instead of "their."
Sad Face
Finally, the expression we've been waiting for! All the posts about pets being sick , lost or in surgery, family deaths, sick kids, natural disasters and the effing posts about starving animals and children. (To be clear, I'm not an a-hole. I donate plenty to organization's which assist starving children and animals. I just don't want to see a picture of the horror under a post which can tell me what my Superhero Fairy Job would be or the Top 25 Worst Nicknames.) Now, finally, everyone can stop commenting with the utterly useless "I'll be praying for you." If you're really praying for someone, don't tell them you're going to do it - just pray! Sad face is our salvation!
I'm Angry
A perfect alternate for "sad face." Because, sometimes, the effing starving children and animals posts make you angry, not sad. For use when someone loses their job, if it rains at the beach, annoying ex stories, and all mother-in-law complaints (not that I have any.) It takes a lot to make me actually angry, so, unless you're a genuine hothead, use sparingly.
Finally, these are my nominations for the next wave of FB expressions.
It could get very complicated. People's emotions aren't as simple as love, angry, sad, haha. Remember the time your coworker got mad because you didn't "like" her Top 50 Chicken Recipes? "Those people" are going to have conniptions when we "like" instead of "love" their idiotic, irrelevant posts.
I'm just waiting for my Aunt Joan to call me asking why I "haha-ed" her "is going for a walk" post. Maybe we should just stick to being confused and "liking" starving puppies?
Vision of the facebook is to achieve supremacy to become a global one stop platform both for user in terms of social media interaction and online advertizer and marketer. Also to innovate at every step to never fade out.
Mission of the facebook is to become the best social media platform with all the functionalities which a person want. It wants to be a one stop place to access all the daily information required by an individual. Also achieving domination in both mobile and digital ad space. Achieving a signifant worldwide reach.
The values of the facebook are to reach, relevance, social context and engagement that forms the base of the organization. Facebook;s billion users creates values for both advertisers and its unique API offerings also gives preferences to the developers.
These three combined actually establishes the ground work for the leaders of the company to form a strategic intent to create a competitive advantage from their rivals and have a steeper growth trajectory along with step by step innovation at every step. It also establishes that this will prevent it from becoming dull and other players to enter the market defining its own supremacy across the globe. It will generate content to empower, engage and connect the world in one thread.
