How do supply chain activities differ between services and manufacturing companies? In what wats are these activities alike?

Principle design objectives for service facilities layouts will be based on degree of customers contact and service need by a customers. These services layout are requiring a conventional service layout and service layout should provide for easy entrance to these facilities from freeways. Services layout must have we organised packaging area.

Much different of supply chain activities of service companies and manufacturing companies like supplying of physical materials are absent in service companies and in other hand manufacturing companies always a physical materials moving from one place to another.

In Service companies supply chain activities less manpower involved in supply of materials in other hand manufacturing has requiring much labour to shift materials from one place to another.

Both need a transaction facilities to move one place to another. Service companies and manufacturing companies both supply chain are depending on customers satisfaction.
