A crime is a sort of illegitimate acts in order to gain some benefits or motive, either be in cash or kind or any other, for which someone can be punished by the regulator or the government, if proven guilty of that act.
A tort is in the nature of a wrongdoing for which a relief can be claimed and obtained in the form of a damage or by the way of an injunction. The tort generally doesn’t involve breach of contract.
A breach is a violation of performance of or failing to perform an obligation entrusted under a promise or duty liability without justification. A breach of duty is a failure to perform in carrying out the functions of someone’s position who is specially in a fiduciary position relatable to the person for whom the duties are to be performed.
Standards of care refers to the codes or the guidelines that suggests how to take care with reasonable degree of skills and competence expected to exercise in a particular circumstances. If someone fails to adhere to the standards of care then person defaulting should be called upon under the charges of breach of duty.
