Order of Chioce:When multiple-choice question are asked, the order of the choices is usually changed each time the question is asked. For exampe in 2012 presidentional election a pollster woud ask one person "who do you prefer for president, Barack Obama or Mitt Romney?"For the next person the order of the names will be reversed "Mitt Romney or Barack Obama?" If the choices were given in the same order each time , do you think that might introduce blias? Explain
YES , If the choices were given in the same order each time THEN IT MIGHT LEAD TO A BIAS.
if the choices were in same order each time then it might lead to "Choice-supportive bias".
in both the cases some for some respondent the order of the choices does not matter as they have to give the ans by there belief and thinking.
but for some they might not be that much intrested in this questionare or do not have any reason to mark any of the option then there comes the random marking which will be nullified in case of changed order and will give rise to a bias If the choices were given in the same order each time.
