Given that,
p = 0.48
1 - p = 1-0.48=0.52
n = 60
= p =0.48
= [p ( 1 - p ) / n] = [(0.48*0.52) / 60 ] = 0.0645
P( < 0.500 ) =
= P[( - ) / < ( 0.500 -0.48) /0.0645 ]
= P(z <0.31 )
Using z table,
=0.6217
probability=0.6217
