holding company. The Company is a global financial services firm
and a banking institution in the United States, with global
operations. It is the largest bank in the United States by assets.
It is a major provider of financial services and has a long
history.
JP Morgan Chase & Co. undergoes a series of mergers, is the
result of the combination of several large U.S. Companies over the
last decade including Chase Manhattan Bank, Bank One, Bear Stearns
and Washington Mutual, its predecessors include major banking firms
among which are Chemical Bank, Manufactures Hanover, First Chicago
Bank,National Bank of Detroit, Texas Commerce Bank, Providian
Financial and Great Western Bank and Each merger brings about great
benefit. The corporation has six main businesses,Investment Bank
(IB), Commercial Banking (CB), Treasury & Securities Services
(TSS) and Asset Management (AM) segments,the Retail Financial
Services (RFS) and Card Services & Auto (Card), these
constitute the biggest global financial service. So JP Morgan adopt

& Co.

Each merger expands its business scope and enhances all-round
capabilities. Now, the corporation's covering business in over 100
countries. But mergers does not change their management structure.
Because JP Morgan is a global financial services with six main
business segments and other administration departments, so they
adopt combination structure, includes divisional structure,
geographic structure and customer structure.
