Ethical issues can occur in technology in areas such as mentioned below:
The devices and interfaces which are Siri, amazon echo, Alexa, etc are devices or applications which are voice assistants to the users and this has led to a market of innovation where several devices and applications are coming up to fill this space. But there are some ethical problems which Siri, amazon echo, Alexa, etc can have in their operations such as security, privacy, secrecy.
The whistleblowing is the act of an employee of a company which reveals the illegal or the unethical activities which the employees reveal to outsiders or agencies leaking information which are supposed to stay within the company. There are many moral and ethical dilemma which can be faced by the whistle-blowing.
Another case, social media does provide ethical threats to society as social media has much information and contains a lot of opportunities. Ethically using these opportunities and making use of social media, will make it very useful and efficient. But unethically using it will create many privacy problems for all the connected people.
