1) Typewriter

- It is a dumb precursor to the modern computer.
- Typewriters in its days was a marvel of technology.
- For those looking to craft novels, novel history, scribing
propaganda etc, typewriters opened up a world of possibilities.
Basically it is a step up from pen and paper.
- Now a days typewriters are rarely used in a modern world of
laptops, tablets and computers.
- Hi-tech computers have replaced typewriters.
- Typewriters are slow and now a days need fast printing.
- Thus Typewriters became obsolete.
2) Beepers and
Pagers -
- Pagers were built and designed in the 1950s but they were not
popular until 1980s.
- These devices were one-way communication.
- Pagers and beepers were often used by doctor and safety
personnels, emergency services even though away from landline
phone.
- As the smartphones came into existence in the early 2000s,
pagers and beepers saw decline in its use but due to its
resilience, better coverage and durability they continued for
several years.
- Now a days due to more advancements and features in
smartphones, pagers and beepers have become obsolete.

Cords -
- Wires and chords once ruled technological lives.
- But these hardware are on the outs due to the continued
development of technologies such as Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi
networking.
- Even chargers may soon face retirement.
- The era of wireless charging is evolving which
will avoid the necessity to carry a phone charger.
- In the coming future the device will be need to laid down on a
charging surface without the requirement of charger.
- Researchers are being conducted that can wirelessly charge a
device from anywhere even though its in pocket without requiring
any contact.
2) Plastic
Credit Cards -
- Credit cards are popular since 1970s as cash is dying.
- But these credit cards have started to begun dematerialize into
digital bits.
- There will be no need of carrying around physical cards
anymore.
- Paying bills through various Pay apps or any wearable
technology is good thing as opposed to credit card.
