Provide an example of an organization's connection between performance and the competitive value of analytics. How would you structure an organization's managerial decision problem as an optimization model?
The structure of an organization is very much important in today's world of business where the level of competition is very high and organizations need to be possess at least one competitive advantage in order to be successful. The structure should be such that the processes are related and therefore each and every action should have an impact on the business. Performance is the key and there is no doubt in the fact and in order to have a competitive advantage there is no substitute of performance.
In order to be the best in the industry in terms of any aspect, the decisions or managerial decisions need to be very much all I need with the business process and each and every section of the workforce needs to be aware of the decisions so that it creates an impact keeping in mind the total workforce. I feel that the structure should follow a top down approach which is transparent so that the employees are aware of the organization's goals and objectives which will make the process simple and convenient for the whole organization and I believe that this model that it follows is optimized.
