At starting of the movie we see a shot of stacking sheep being guided by something and then we see shot of modern human leaving public transport station.This is to tell us that just like sheep, humans are part of the system. Modern human is the loss of freedom. Modern human accepts been part of the system in which the majority is abused and controlled by minority.

The test of the lunch machine on chaplin in the factory so to fed the workers lunch while still working without even a lunch break. It is an excellent portray of how far capitalism capitalizm could go for a profit.
