Discrimination means giving different privelages to individuals in the name of caste, social background, religion, race and other public things. Discrimination in the Swedish House market : Native citizens of Sweden are less affected in discrimination of getting rental houses. There also gender disparity in Sweden, where female citizens are easily getting rental houses than male citizens. getting a rental apartment in urban area is a hard task in sweden for all citizens. Apart from this foreigners are mostly affected, arab Muslims had to cover lot of paper procedures to get a rental apartment. As compared to the Swedish citizens they want show different identity cards ,approving aggrements, also they are paid high rents. Even now sexual discrimination law exist in Sweden, but property law doesn't effective for foreigners and male citizens. Also only Sweden natives are given right to occupy citizenship in Sweden. There is a law for foreign citizens to buy houses, but the law enforcement is weaker. so there should a need of law to protect every citizens inside and outside country against the discrimination in housing market. To resolve this issue citizens of the country conduct protest and force govt, other foreign countries should discuss this issue in UN, and find out resolution. The are many behavioral assumptions regarding the discrimination in housing market : many people make false statements in house renting such as law says no foreign are allowed to rent house, There is too much house rent paid from foreigners as compared to natives etc are some of behavior assumptions still exist in Swedish society.
