Use the following logarithmic property

⇒ f(x) = g(x)
Therefore,
3x = e2
x = e2/3
= 2.5
Therefore, the value of ‘x’ is 2.5.
Use maple to plot the graph both sides of the equation as shown below:
From the graph above, the two graphs intersect at x = 2.5.
Therefore, the value of ‘x’ is 2.5.
