1.carbohydrates are the main energy producing substance to our body it is a complex compound.

3.mono saccharides are like glucose are simple molecules breaks from carbohydrates .
4.pancreatic amylase breaks carbohydrates into oligo saccharides dextrinase is help in the break down of oligo saccharides
5.some of the carbohydrates are not absorbed and the go into large intestine where bacterial digestion takes place .
6.the digested material them able to pass through the walls of intestine to the blood vessels and supply to various organs by diffusion or active transport .
7.epithelial cells have finger loke projections called micro villi which help inthe absorption of nutrients and carbohydrates .
8.villi has consists of capillary net work,where the epithelial cells transport nutrients and carbohydrates from the lumen of intestine to the capillaries .
