Answers: The three main measures of central tendency are the mean, the median and the mode where:
mean = sum of the values of every observation in the group divided by the total number of observations in that group.
median = middlemost value of the group of observations when they are arranged in ascending order. (when the total number of observations is an odd number)
mode = most commonly occurring value in a set of observations.
In factor 1, mean = 85.85714; median = 86; mode = 86 (Since 86 is occurring twice when no other number is repeated more than once)
In factor 2, mean = 82.14286; median = 82; mode = 77 (Since 77 is occurring twice when no other number is repeated more than once)
In factor 3, mean = 85.14286 ; median = 82; mode = 79 (Since 79 is occurring twice when no other number is repeated more than once)
