Given that,
The dependent variable is Sales.
The independent variables are direct,newspaper and television.
By Using Minitab we get the following Output.
From the above output we have R^2=0.195.The fit is not good for the model.
The regression equation is,
Sales = 12.3 + 0.57 Direct + 3.32 Newspaper + 0.73 Television.
From the above output we have the p-value of the regression coefficient Direct is 0.744 .So it is large. There is no significantly different from zero at 0.05 significance level.
From the above output we have the p-value of the regression
coefficient Direct is 0.712 .So it is large. There is no
significantly different from zero at 0.05 dignificance level.
From the above output we have the independent variable Newspaper has the strongest impact on the dependent variables.The independent variable Direct has the weakest impact.
From the above output we have the p-value of the regression coefficient of news paper is 0.043 .So it is small. It is significantly different from zero at 0.05 significance level.
