HOW DO I FIND THEORETICAL DISTRIBUTION if I have information from my collected data?
The first we have to make sure that our data are of random type, i.e., they possess the property of statistical stability. If the property of statistical stability is not violated, with out hesitate use the methods of the probability theory.
We find the theoretical distribution of any given data by using the Distribution Tests. In this case Distribution tests are hypothesis tests that determine whether your sample data were drawn from a population that follows a hypothesized probability distribution.
In this case we select the hypothesis as follows --
After applying the test we conclude that for distribution tests, small p-values indicate that you can reject the null hypothesis and conclude that your data were not drawn from a population with the specified distribution.
