In terms of country Competitive advantge is define as something a certain country does that no one else does, for example - It can be, more value for customer than its competitors with combinations of labour supply, switable infrastructures, government participation, superior product, distribution or promotion benefits, and lower price of local products, etc.

According to latest Global Competitiveness Report Oman ranked highly in several categories and also praised for their excellent macroeconomic environment, equality, high-quality infrastructure with switable liberal tax regime. Where in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Oman ranked 32nd out of the 142 countries. Oman developed a more diverse and innovative economy system were they provide fund's of approx 900 scholarships for higher education students with their country. After analysing the underscoring need to improve research and training services availability they recently provide more places for students in their system. Most importantly according to WEF competitiveness report, in the Oman approximately 7000 women obtained work in the private sector recently that eventually improving ratio of women to men in the labour force. Oman’s more pro-active policies that encouraging women’s participation in the workforce helping Oman's economy a lot. Oman has a critical geographic advantage, because they closer to Europe, Asia and Africa that eventually offering local exporters to trade their local products as result a competitive edge.
