15 18 11
18 21 12
13 17 15
12 15 9

Data:

Excel Output :

( To get Excel output type data on excel sheet then select Data > Data Analysis > one way Anova > Input range : select all data , Grouped by   column then select Ok )

Hypothesis :

   (all means are same)

Ha : at least on eof the mean is different .

Test statistics

F = 5.55

P value : 0.02688

alpha (significance level ) =0.05      (given)

Interpretation:

Decision using p value :

If p value (0.02688) < 0.05 hence we fails to reject H0.

Conclusion we have enough evidence to conclude that at least on of treatment is not same.

Decision using critical value

F critical value = 4.256

F (5.55) > F critical value (4.256) therefore we reject H0.

we get same result using P value and F critical
