1. RUG means Resource utilisation group. The RUG-III consists of two groupers RUG-III 44 and RUG-III 34 groups. These RUG groupers are determined based on these 6 keys.

1. They provide extensive services.

2. They regulate and monitor services with various therapies to the patients with disabilities known as special rehabilitation.

3. They give special care to the residents.

4. They monitors for residents with many disorders known as clinically complex.

5. They check for residents with disabilities in memory and thinking called as impaired cognition.

6. They treat the residents with physical,verbal and other behavioural problems.

2. The 3 components that together reflect the cost of the particular procedure is the payments for the employees which is usually about 60% of the expenditure and the revenues and the services required by the individuals.
