The results of a survey found that people were more likely to enjoy coffee with cream if they lived in California (US) than if they lived in Vancouver (Canada). They sampled people from California and Vancouver. Out of 4950 Californian people, 1884 preferred coffee with cream. Out of 5819 Vancouver people, 788 preferred coffee with cream. Construct a 95% confidence interval for the difference between these two opinions (pCalifornia−pVancouver). Report the lower bound of the confidence interval.
Let denote the proportion of people who preferred coffee with cream among Californian people and Vancouver people respectively.
