Look for a parcel of land in your city that would be a good location for a new stadium or arena.
How much does this land cost?
What makes the choice of land favorable? (infrastructure nearby such as existing highways/roads etc.).
What are some possible negative aspects of the choice?
New stadium cost depends on a lot of things like the purpose of the stadium, what it will be used for, capacity, etc.
Location intelligence is very importance while selecting a location for stadium of arena. Below are some of the criteria :
1) Parking: The land selected should have a good facility for parking. It should have several open lots or sites for parking garages.
2) Accessibility: The selected land must be Accessible and should have a very good connectivity with the major roadways and highways.
3) Traffic Count: Knowledge of traffic count around that area is important because during any event time the traffic will increase and if the area is already congested you can plan ways to possibly mitigate that over-congestion.
4) Demographics: The selection of location will also depend on the what kind of population is near your proposed stadium site
5) Drive Time: As stadiums need to be stocked with massive amounts of goods and services, the selected land should not be too far away from trade centers and labor pools
6) Nearby Points of Interest: If the site has nearby popular bars and restaurants, it could draw a good amount of crowd based on proximity and if the site is in somewhat desolate part of town, it could help in tax credits as it will contribute to urban revitalization
