Escitalopram is a drug that is used as an antidepressant and it is under class SSRI that is selective serotonin reputake inhibition. It is used to disorder like depression, anxiety, mood swings and the behavioural change . It is also used to treat the compulsive disorder . The Escitalopram increases the level of Neurotransmittor such as the serotonin between the two synapses and blacks the reuptaking through its pathway into the pre- synaptic membrane . Escitalopram is inhibited to pass through the membranes of the Blood brain barriers therefore inhibitors such as the equanidine aand uerempanil is used to increase its permiability. So that it pass through the blood brain barriers. The common side effect of the Escitalopram includes the problem of weakness in the body problem of sexual irritation. It also leads to the feeling of sucide in the young age. It is not clear that the Escitalopram can be used in the pregnancy .certain isomers of the Escitalopram are safe to use it in the pregnancy . It also stimulates the feeling of nausea and vomitting.

1) Explain how this cellular mechanism affects variation: Crossing over Briefly explain how the mechanism (crossing over) could contribute to genetic variation in offspring. Be specific how this mechanism gives this result, when it occurs during the cell cycle, and be specific as to the type of genetic variation produced (from base-pair sequences to whole genomes).
