Expert Solution

Answer is :

Identifying sequences that are not different between two species.

Explanation:

The two species have same gene sequence which encode function in the body.

The gene is the sequence of nucleotide which gives a particular protein which has function in the body. That's why it is transcribed.

When the gene is delelted, then there is not found functional protein. Hence ther is found abnormal phenotype for that gene.

Gene has open reading frame. The open reading frame is found between start codon and stop codon
