In the earlier that is in 2000 year we have adopted Euro 1 emission standards that is INDIA 2000 for all four and above four wheeler vehicles. Then later on we have adopted Euro 2 standards that is BHARAT STAGE- II emission standards from 2001 to 2005 national wide. Then we came to BHARAT STAGE-III which is adopeted on the basis of Euro-3 emission standards. Which is applied in all over India from 2005 to 2010. Than we aquired to BHARAT STAGE-IV which is taken with the reference of Euro 4 which is applied from 2010 to 2017 in national wide. But BHARAT STAGE-V was skipped by government which is reference of Euro -5 ,, so we adopted diesel emission standard for the future is BHARAT STAGE-VI which is based in Euro-6 which is adopted from 2020 onwards.
